Folksbier Brauerei has a large private event space to accommodate private parties seven days a week. Whether hosting an intimate group of friends, work holiday party, or wedding, this unique event space offers an alternative entertaining setting.

 

PRICING:

4 Hour Private Party (Friday, Saturday, Sunday)
$1200 Event Rental Space up to 75 people
$1700 Event Rental Space more than 75 people

4 Hour Private Party (Monday-Thursday)
$1100 Event Rental Space up to 75 people
$1600 Event Rental Space more than 75 people

Included in the service:
In-house event coordination
Set-up/Break down of the event
Private bar with bartending staff for the duration of the party

Drink Packages for your Guests:
$25 per person - 2 Taps
$30 per person - 3 Taps

Additional $5 per person for Premium Beer (Glow Up and Recurring Dreams)
Additional $2 per person to add NY State Cider

Beer choices will be available 2 weeks before your event.

FAQ:

When can I reserve the space?

  • The earliest we reserve is six months prior.

  • Once our contract is signed, we will require a $200 non-refundable deposit for your event.

  • The remainder of your balance is due 72 hours before your event with your final guest count.

Can I bring in Food?

  • Yes! No cooking on premise, but catering is welcome. All vendors must be approved by the staff at Folksbier and submit a COI.

  • All dishware, cutlery, etc must be supplied by caterers or guests. We will happily supply a list of recommended caterers.

  • We unfortunately cannot allow for food trucks due to lack of street space.

  • We also offer in-house Tacos on weekends. Taco orders must be placed 72 hours in advance.

Can I bring in wine/liquor?

  • Yes, but our bartenders will be unable to serve any beverages brought in. We recommend bringing in pre-batched cocktails, such as a punch, if you are interested in liquor.

  • You ARE responsible for supplying all serving needs (ice, bowls, cups, etc.). You may also bring in wine and non alcoholic beverages.

  • Outside beer is not allowed.

  • A small corkage fee may be charged for outside beverages brought in.

It’s the day of my event, when can I setup?

  • You and your vendors can set up one hour prior to the event. You may bring in any decorations as long as they are not obtrusive or disrupt general service.

Can I bring my own music/DJ?

  • Unfortunately, no. Our private event space is connected to the house sound system.

Do you have tables and chairs for all of my guests?

  • We have tables and chairs for some of your guests. If you would like to ensure that all seating is accounted for, we can work with Broadway Party Rentals to accommodate any further needs at your expense.

Can my event be longer than 4 hours?

  • Yes. You can reserve the space for an additional hour for an $550. The maximum event time is five hours. If guests stay in the space past the reservation time, Folksbier has the right to charge per hour.

Are tax and gratuity included?

  • No. There is no gratuity added to the bill. The cost of labor will be included in the final price of the party. 8.875% New York Sales tax will also be included in your final balance.

Can I reserve a private space for a small party (10-20 people)?

  • Smaller parties can be accommodated by reaching a minimum tab of $250 at the main bar. You will be charged the full minimum even if your tab does not meet that minimum. 20% gratuity will be added to your final tab.

  • We do not supply a bartender or private bar for smaller parties. We do offer a private reserved space from the rest of the tasting room.

  • Small party reservations are only accepted when there is not a larger event booked. Smaller parties are reserved for 3 hours for up to 20 people. All guests must stay on the same tab.

  • No outside food or beverages during the reserved space time due to clean up constraints.

  • There are no reservations on Saturdays after 2pm.

Can I host an event outside of Tasting Room hours?

  • We are open to considering other smaller events during our closed/production hours. These events would be taking place during active production and would have to be approved by the brewing staff. Some examples of events: team building lunch/tasting and casual business lunch meetings.
